If assignments are not returned on the expected dates, students will receive a signing on their blue planner sheet.

MY CHILD WAS ABSENT!
WHEN SHOULD THEY SEE THEIR TEACHERS FOR MISSING WORK?

Students should see their teachers between 7:30-7:45 (before school)
OR
During their Pod's Griffin Time

A "M" will be placed in the gradebook when an assignment is late. The "M" will stay in the gradebook until the assignment is turned in. Students will have
7 days to get any late work turned in, if the assignment is still not turned in, the grade will be changed to a zero.

Late Work:
We understand that periodically students will become sick, have doctor's appointments, or need to miss class for one reason or another. If a student misses class, all assignments that were assigned previously, will be due the day the student returns. If a student is absent when a new assignment is assigned, then the student will need to see the teacher the day they return to school to collect the assignments and get the due date. Students have one day for each day they are absent plus one to complete the new assignments.

Cheating Policy
As per the ACA Student Code of Conduct, if students are found cheating, the teacher may assign a zero for the assignment in question. (p. 9 Class II Disciplinary Consequences)
